Argleton is a fictitious location supposedly located in West Lancashire, England. The settlement at one time appeared on Google Maps and Google Earth, and although it was recently removed, the previous location is still listed in search results. Argleton was first discovered in September of 2008 and developed a large following on the Internet, complete with a fictitious web site that contained history and current events of the village. It has been suggested that the location was created as a copyright trap.

The SS Baychimo is a famous ghost ship that was abandoned in 1931 but continued to be sighted along the Alaskan coastline through 1969. It was originally a ship that served on trade routes for the Germans in World War I but was given to the United Kingdom as war reparations. On a voyage in 1931, the ship became trapped in pack ice and the crew disembarked. A few days later, it was sighted 45 miles away. Eventually, the ship was abandoned entirely, and was seen 300 miles away a few months later. It was never able to be completely salvaged, and these sightings continued over the years until it’s last confirmed sighting in 1969.

The Battle of Nuremberg refers to a particularly heated match between Portugal and the Netherlands in the second round of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The match saw four red cards and sixteen yellow cards handed out by the referee, both records for the competition. The game was ultimately won by Portugal by a score of 1-0. In addition to the multitude of fouls and bookings, the game also featured a brawl between the two teams. The referee of the match was criticized by FIFA officials.
